During his video presentation today, Harvey Mackay said that 10-15 minutes into an 
interview with a potential new hire, he asks himself, How would I feel if this person 
were working for my competitor? If the notion of this person working for the 
competition doesnt worry him, Mackay said that he immediately ends the interview. 

Who are the totally invaluable people at your company? Which employees at your 
company strike the greatest fear into your competitors? 

Based on your answer to the previous question, are there any common characteristics 
about the people you listed that make these employees so valuable? 

How did these employees come to join your organization and could this be a source of 
recruiting other new employees? 

What made these invaluable employees decide to join your organization? Knowing this 
will help you to know what to emphasize when you are recruiting other top candidates.
